Little Evil – review

Newly married Gary thinks his new stepson may actually be the son of Satan. That’s it really.

When I read that this movie was from the writer director of Tucker and Dale Vs Evil, Eli Craig, which was an unexpected funny hidden gem. But there just aren’t enough jokes here.

There are plenty of jokes aimed at The Omen and really the movie is about everyone being scared of the prospect of fatherhood, but I don’t really care all that much. It didn’t do much to hold my attention.

The most interesting thing was the casting of Bridget Everett, which was a completely different role to who she played in Patti Cakes.

Unfortunately while Little Evil has a couple of funny jokes, it isn’t enough to make up for a forgettable and otherwise bland movie.
