So what exactly is the peroxide rebellion? Well, you know when a guy is trying to be rebellious and out there, or trying to make a change in their life but the biggest thing they can do is dye their hair? Either because they are not all that smart and going blonde is the smartest idea they can think off or they literally change nothing else in their life. That’s a peroxide rebellion. It happens to girls too, but its called a short hair rebellion. (More on this some other time)
Case in point – The Bieber is the most recent guy to go through the peroxide rebellion.
Justin Timberlake did it and loved it. He was all sorts of rebel back in the ‘Nsync days, juxtaposing the ramen ‘do with hoop earings and a drawstring anorak. Lets face it if he wasn’t singing he would be selling me a mobile phone case down the market.
Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy has done it too, he said something about coinciding with ‘new art being on the horizon’, I think its because he is scared to be 35 and still an emo.
Eminem has never been afraid of letting the world know he bleaches his hair, ’cause he is so malcontent with life.
Chris Brown, it’s how we know he’s a bad boy. Fact.
David Beckham has done everything to his hair (bar dreadlocks and that’s a good thing). In fact footballers love it, I think its probably because they are a bit dumb and they think it makes them special.
Jared Leto has gone blonde more than anyone else, but the skunk look has got to be the worse. All he wants is for people to love him.
Sisqo is obviously a ungovernable blonde prince among late 90s rappers.
Adam Levine has watched one too many Marilyn Monroe movies, clearly.
Of course the confused little fella has gone through a peroxide rebellion, but the good news is he can count to three.
Robert Downey Jr, this is what a midlife crisis looks like for him, now drugs are off the menu.
What was the first thing Robbie Williams did when he left Take That? Apart from pretend he was George Michael? Break out the peroxide of course.
