Celebrities love to pose when collecting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
When you have a movie that needs promotion, the easiest way to be the centre of attention is to pay your $30,000, buy the selection committee a whole box of KitKat Chunkies and you’re in.
There are very few stock poses that you can do:
If you are a lady, there is the classic beached mermaid pose, as demonstrated here by Kate Winslet and Scarlett Johansson. It demonstrates the difficulty in looking elegant, controlled and sexy while sitting on the floor.
If you are a man, there is the classic Tebow touchdown pose, as demonstrated here by James Franco and Matt Damon. It is important to maintain eye contact with the paparazzi while contacting the star with only your fingertips.
If you are anyway involved in comedy you are allow lie down and maybe go a little freestyle with the pose. As demonstrated by Danny Divito, Jane Lynch, Mike Myers and Ellen.
If you diverge from these rules it could be dangerous, as demonstrated by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. This is why women don’t do the Tebow. Nice baps.Unless you’re Cate Blanchett. Clever and just a little smug.
